Proofs of the Bible

Modern science has made a tremendous work to try to explain anything in the Bible or in the world without any hint that God could exist. 2 visions of the world exist today which are polar opposite: The scientific one and the Biblical one.

For most skeptics, the Bible is simply a book of fairy tales from ancient times however it would be extremely difficult to dispute the overwhelming archaeological support for the historical accuracy of both the Old and New Testaments. Here are some historical and archaeological proofs that some major Biblical events happened.

• Sodom and Gomorrah

• Jesus Christ

The Flood

Scientists have proven that over 7,000 years ago, a massive flood swept the Black Sea, submerging 100,000 square miles of land. The sea level rose over 100 feet, and potentially thousands of people perished in the flood. Many other elements point to a past global flood.

There exist also a number of ancient societies told stories, such as the Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh and the Greek and Roman story of Deucalion and Pyrrha, that mention a catastrophic flood. The Atlantis story also refer to a great flood (If it ever existed). It's possible that all these stories trace back to a common flood that devastated the ancient Near East.

Noah's Ark

The search for Noah's Ark have been quite extensive with many hoaxes but there are reasons to think that the Ark has finally be found in Turkey at the Durupınar site. During a 1959 geodetic survey of Turkey, an anomalous shape near Doğubayazıt was identified by İlhan Durupınar of the Turkish Air Force and Sevket Kurtis of Ohio State University. Thanks to Ron Wyatt, the study of the site have continued and brought many proofs to support it as the remanent of Noah's Ark.

• It is in the shape of a boat, with a pointed bow and rounded stern.
• Exact length as noted in biblical description, 515 feet or 300 Egyptian cubits. (Egyptian not Hebrew cubit would have been known to Moses who studied in Egypt then wrote Genesis.)
• It rests on a mountain in Eastern Turkey, matching the biblical account, "The ark rested . . . upon the mountains of Ararat" Genesis 8:4. (Ararat being the name of the ancient country Urartu which covered this region.)
• Contains petrified wood, as proven by lab analysis.
• Contains high-tech metal alloy fittings, as proven by separate lab analyses paid for by Ron Wyatt, then performed later by Kevin Fisher of this web site. Aluminum metal and titanium metal was found in the fittings which are MAN-MADE metals!
• Vertical rib timbers on its sides, comprising the skeletal superstructure of a boat. Regular patterns of horizontal and vertical deck support beams are also seen on the deck of the ark.
• Occupied ancient village at the ark site at 6,500 ft. elevation matching Flavius Josephus' statement "Its remains are shown there by the inhabitants to this day."
• Dr. Bill Shea, archaeologist found an ancient pottery sherd within 20 yards of the ark which has a carving on it that depicts a bird, a fish, and a man with a hammer wearing a headdress that has the name "Noah" on it. In ancient times these items were created by the locals in the village to sell to visitors of the ark. The ark was a tourist attraction in ancient times and today.
• Recognized by Turkish Government as Noah's Ark National Park and a National Treasure. Official notice of its discovery appeared in the largest Turkish newspaper in 1987.
• Visitors' center built by the government to accommodate tourists further confirms the importance of the site.
• Huge anchor stones were found near the ark and in the village Arzap, 15 miles away, which hung off the rear of the ark to steady its ride.
• The ark rests upon Cesnakidag (or Cudi Dagi) Mountain, which is translated as "Doomsday" Mountain.
• Dr. Salih Bayraktutan of Ataturk University stated, "It is a man made structure, and for sure it's Noah's Ark" Common Sense. This same article also states "The site is immediately below the mountain of Al Judi, named in the Qur'an as the resting place of the Ark." Houd Sura 11:44
• Radar scans show a regular pattern of timbers inside the ark formation, revealing keels, keelsons, gunnels, bulkheads, animal chambers, ramp system, door in right front, two large barrels in the front 14' x 24', and an open center area for air flow to all three levels.
• New, 2016, high resolution, resistivity scans were done on the ark and reveal the same man-made elements that Ron Wyatt found in his 1985 scans. See www.noahsarkscans.nz

Nephilim

Multiple discoveries of nephilim giants have been reported for centuries (Even Abraham Lincoln discussed about a race of extinct giants found in America). Goliath is supposed to have been a nephilim. Other reports of giants skeletons can be found here or here. The Smithsonian Institute have been rumored to destroy all giant remains that were reported to it.

Now, the many pictures shown of giant skeletons might be fake (although I don't see why people would waste time doing this). So ultimately believing in the past existence of giants is principally a matter of faith. A true Christian that believe that the Bible is 100% true and doesn't cherry-pick what he wishes to believe or not will be inclined to believe that it might be true.

Sodom and Gomorrah

Sodom and Gomorrah have been located and the evidences are staggering. Round balls of brimstone, or nearly pure sulfur, embedded in an ashen area near the Dead Sea, which show clear signs of having once been ancient building structures. A great study of the site can be found in this page.

Many geological evidences prove a cataclysm like the one described in the Bible happened in this area. Due to the overwhelming evidences, modern science could not deny that the fire and brimstones from the sky happened but twisted the fact to fit their own Godless world-view : Sodom And Gomorrah May Have Been Destroyed By An Asteroid Strike.

Red Sea Crossing

There is a traditional route of the Exodus which has the children of Israel wading in shallow water through an area north of the Gulf of Suez while the tide was out. This area cannot be the crossing site as it does not match the biblical account.

The real Red Sea crossing site was found by Ron Wyatt and the story of his expedition can be found in this page. The site where Moses parted the seas into 2 might have been in the Gulf of Aqaba at Nuweiba Egypt. The site is located at around 3 days of fast traveling from the Goshen area where the Jews were enslaved by Rameses. Numerous remains of Egyptians chariots and bones were found in the sea (In the Bible, it is speculated there were 20,000 Egyptian chariots destroyed the day of the Red Sea crossing).

Jesus Christ

Some archaeological evidences proving the authenticity of the New Testament still remain today.
The Pilate Stone refer to Pontius Pilate, the fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, that is best known for being the official who presided over the trial of Jesus and ultimately ordered his crucifixion.
The James Ossuary which contain the following reference: “James, Son of Joseph, Brother of Jesus.”. Many experts verified the authenticity of the James Ossuary and proved it was not a forged.

Some historians around the time of Jesus Christ also referred to him and the miracles he made. Josephus lived from about 37-100 AD. He belonged to the Jewish priestly lineage and through a series of events came to serve the Romans. He wrote some of the most valuable works on Jewish history in existence, including one called Antiquities of the Jews (likely composed about 93 AD). It provides us with references to Jesus such as this one:

“Now about this time lived Jesus, a wise man. For he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of men who receive truth with pleasure; and drew over to him many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. And When Pilate, at the information of the leading men among us, had him condemned to the cross, those who had loved him at first did not cease to do so. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day”.

Many historical and archaeological evidences proving that the Bible is true exist nowadays. The main problem is always the same: the system is made to hide or discredit any of those proofs and the mass media and education would never make it public.

It is ultimately a battle for the souls, the less the people can relate to God and the Bible and the more will be damned to Hell.
